FLOREAT ATHENA SOCCER CLUB JUNIOR REGISTRATION 2017
The Floreat Athena Open Day will be held on Sunday 12th February 2017, from 9:00am – 11:00am at Litis Stadium, 41 Britannia Rd, Mt Hawthorn. All players, new and returning are welcome to come down and take a look around the club and see the facilities and enjoy a sausage sizzle.
Take this opportunity to meet your Club Committee members and ask any questions you may have regarding the season.
Floreat Athena Football Club was established in 1951 as a place for the local community to unite around football and a place for families to socialise. Today, Floreat Athena remains one of the only founding clubs still in existence and we still pride ourselves in providing a facility for the community to embrace a family culture and create pathways for players to progress to the Floreat Athena National Premier League 1st team or Professional League (eg A-League), whilst still encouraging children to participate, do their best and have fun.
Floreat Athena Soccer Club is looking forward to an exciting 2017, with our new President Dimitrios Thomas and the Senior Board. The President and the Senior Board are focussed on making this club stronger and better for our members and with that in mind it has decided to reform the Junior Committee. The Club would formally like to introduce the new members of the Committee (listed below) who are committed to building the Floreat Athena Juniors to a higher standard in 2017:

Floreat Athena is a community club and we rely on volunteers for linesman, canteen, supporting the coaching staff, team managers and assisting with Floreat Athena events. If you would like to volunteer as Team Manager, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The training days or times have not been determined, this can’t be decided until teams are established and coaches assigned. Coaches will make the decision as to what day and time teams will train. All players must attend training. All games are played on Sunday and parents are responsible for getting their children to the playing venues.

FEES for SEASON 2017
U6’s – U11’s: Returning
$250 (includes 1 pair of playing shorts and 1 pair socks).
U6’s – U11’s: New
$350 (includes 1 x training top and shorts, 1 pair of playing shorts and 1 pair socks).
U12’s – U16’s (U18’s – Sunday League): Returning
$650 (includes 1 pair of white and blue playing shorts and 1 pair white and blue socks).
U12’s – U16’s (U18’s – Sunday League): New
$750 (includes 1 x training top and shorts, 1 pair of white and blue playing shorts and 1 pair white and blue socks).
Registration fees are non-refundable. Only players who have completed the online registration and have paid fees in full will be allowed to commence training. To ensure teams are allocated in an appropriate division, grading will be conducted. The Club’s preference and policy is for players to play in their age group. For grading to be done fairly and effectively, all players will be graded in their own age group based upon date of birth. Grading will occur during the first month of training. There may be circumstances where players are moved but this is ONLY at the discretion of the club committee.
